Customization
Lists
Lists are structures where records are displayed in table format and users can perform quick and practical operations on data.
Various customizations can be made on standard lists provided by the system.
On standard lists:
- Columns to be displayed can be edited
- Column widths can be adjusted
- Filtering and sorting rules can be defined
- New lists can be created
The following list types are automatically created by the system for each concept:
- Main List
- Search List
- Related List
For a concept, only one main list can be marked as the default list. Search lists and related lists cannot be defined as default lists.
Search Lists
Search lists are automatically created by the system when a concept is created.
These lists are used in;
- Lookup fields
- "More" selection screens
Rules for search lists:
- Cannot be deleted by user
- A new search list cannot be created
- The first column must always be Primary Field
- Primary field cannot be changed
- By default, the first 3 columns are displayed
Related Lists
Related lists are automatically created by the system when a concept is created and are used to display related records.
These lists are used in;
- Related record grids on forms
- Listing related records between concepts
Features of related lists:
- Automatically created systematically
- Only related lists are used in related record grids
- Cannot be deleted by user
- A new related list cannot be added
List Management
On the Concepts screen, lists belonging to the relevant concept are accessed via the "Lists" button on the far right of each concept row.
From here:
- Existing lists can be edited
- New lists can be created
Each list has:
- Display Name
- System Name
The system name is unique and is used in system references.
List Queries and Column Configuration
When creating or editing a list, two basic structures are used:
- List Query
- List Columns
List Query
List query is the area where rules that determine which records will be shown in the list are defined. In this section;
- Through the concept's own fields
- Through relationship types such as Lookup, Multi Lookup, Multi Reference, Participant, Owner
queries can be created.
Filtering rules are defined through the user interface and multiple conditions can be used together for complex scenarios.
In addition, in lists, filtering can be done directly through column headers. This provides quick filtering without having to go to the List Query screen to create a query.
List Columns
List columns determine which fields will be displayed in the list.
Rules and features:
- A list must contain at least one field
- Some field types cannot be selected as columns
- In addition to concept fields:
- Lookup
- Multi Lookup
- Multi Reference
- Fields of concepts linked to Participant type fields
can be added as columns
For multi lookup fields, only concepts with multi lookup feature enabled are listed and fields of these concepts can be selected as columns.
For Participant type fields, depending on the related activity type:
- Company
- Contact
- Lead
- User
- Team
fields from these concepts can be added as columns.
Column Behaviors
The following operations can be performed on columns added to the list:
- Column order can be changed (drag-drop)
- Sorting can be done by selecting one or more columns
- Multi-column sorting can be defined with CTRL key
- Column widths can be adjusted by the user
List Publishing
All edits made on a list are kept as drafts.
- Save: Saves the changes as a draft
- Publish: Activates the list
Unpublished lists are not viewable by users.
Personal Lists
Apart from system lists, users can create personal lists for themselves.
Personal lists:
- Are configured only on the listing screen
- Are visible only to the relevant user
- Are not shared with other users
