Sales Management
Overview
Scope of Sales Management
Robosme Sales Management enables the management of the entire commercial process carried out with companies and/or individuals under a single structure.
This structure is not just about creating a sales record; it covers an end-to-end process that extends from product selection, pricing, quote presentation, order conversion to order closure.
Sales management is built on the following main components:
- Product and price definitions
- Tax and currency calculations
- Quote and order generation
- Order closures and tracking of realized amounts
- Monitoring all actions that occur throughout the process
This way, the sales process becomes trackable, reportable, and auditable both operationally and financially.
Relationship Between Sales, Quote, Order, and Order Closure
In Robosme, sales processes progress around a single central record (Sales).
- Sales, is the main record of the commercial relationship carried out with the customer.
- Quote, is generated from the sales and represents the pricing and terms presented to the customer.
- Order, is the operational equivalent of an accepted quote or direct sales.
- Order Closure, ensures the partial or full completion of the order and the finalization of realized amounts.
In this structure:
- Quote and order records are not independent from sales but linked to sales
- Multiple quotes can be generated from a single sales
- Orders can be created from a sales
- Orders can be closed partially or fully
All these records work in relation to each other and directly affect the status of the sales.
General Flow (High Level)
The basic flow in sales management is as follows:
Sales → Quote → Order → Order Closure
- Sales is created and products are added
- If necessary, a quote is prepared from the sales and presented to the customer
- When the quote is accepted or an order is created directly from sales
- Order is closed partially or fully according to deliveries and realizations
All operations performed throughout the sales process (adding products, updating prices, creating quotes, converting to order, closure) can be tracked chronologically through the Sales Timeline.
