Filtering
Filtering enables creating detailed queries on concept records. The filtering area is accessed from the Filtering panel on the right side of the list screen.
Filtering Logic
Filters work on a rule-based system. Each rule:
- A field
- An operator
- A value
is defined by these components.
Multiple rules can be grouped with:
- "AND" (all conditions must be met)
- "OR" (at least one condition must be met)
logic.
Filter Field Selection
In filtering, you can filter through fields of the concept being processed, as well as:
· Concepts to which the record is linked (N:1 – lookup)
· Concepts linked to the record (1:N - lookup)
· Concepts linked to the record with many-to-many relationships
· User and team concepts linked through record ownership
· Concepts linked through multi-lookup fields on the record
· Concepts linked through multi-reference fields on the record
· Concepts linked through activity participant fields on the record
· Concepts where the record is defined in a multi-lookup field on another record
· Concepts where the record is defined in a multi-reference field on another record
· Activity concepts where the record is defined as an activity participant
fields can be used for filtering.
When adding a relationship in filtering, you can also query for records without the relationship. In this case, no field, operator, or value is selected through the relationship. For example; companies without sales records.
Filter Operators by Field Type
The operators available during filtering vary depending on the selected field type.

Use Cases for Filters
Created filters are used to:
- Narrow down data on list screens
- Generate meaningful results in charts
- Display current data on dashboards
- Limit Excel export operations
