Sales Management
Price Management
Price management in Robosme is the fundamental structure that determines at what prices products will be processed in sales, quote, and order processes.
This structure operates through price lists, price list items, and authorization rules.
Price management ensures consistency in sales processes while also enabling flexible pricing for different customer groups, teams, or sales scenarios.
Sales processes with or without price lists can be used together depending on the need.
Price Lists
Price Lists represent the price sets defined for your business products and services. In sales, quote, and order records, products are processed by default at the prices defined in price lists.
Thanks to price lists:
- Different prices can be offered to different customer groups for the same product
- Pricing can be done in different currencies
- Campaign, region, or team-based pricing scenarios can be created
Basic rules:
- A product can appear in multiple price lists
- Each price list contains its own currency and prices
- The price list selected on the sale determines product addition and price assignment behaviors
Price List Items
Each row added to a price list is called a Price List Item.
Price list items define under what conditions and at what price products will be sold.
A price list item consists of:
- Product
- Unit
- Currency
- Price
Rules:
- In the same price list, the same product-unit combination can be defined only once
- When selecting products in sales, only items defined in the relevant price list can be used
- The price of the selected unit is automatically assigned to the sales product unit price
Thanks to this structure, sales prices are managed centrally and user-sourced pricing errors are prevented.
Price List Ownership and Authorization
Price lists can be defined on a user or team basis. Each price list has an ownership, and this ownership directly affects access and transaction permissions.
Authorization model:
- Based on role hierarchy
- The user role and price list owner are evaluated together
The following operations are subject to authorization:
- Creating price lists
- Updating price lists
- Deleting price lists
- Adding, editing, or deleting price list items
Thanks to this structure:
- Unauthorized price changes are prevented
- Team-based price lists are managed securely
- Corporate pricing discipline is maintained
