1. Why is sales calculated through sales product, not through product?
   Because in real commerce, the same product can be sold:
• at different prices
• with different taxes
• with different discounts
  

In Robosme, product is the starting point. Calculations are made through Sales Product after being added to the sale.

2. Can I sell the same product at different prices in two different sales?
   Yes.
• Price comes automatically in price list sales
• Price is entered manually in non-price list sales
• Price can be changed on a sales product basis with "define different price from list price"

This does not affect the product record, only the related sales product.

3. Why does tax sometimes come automatically and sometimes not?
   This behavior is determined by System Settings:
• Dynamic Tax
  Tax on the product is automatically assigned to the sales product
• Manual Tax
  Product tax is not considered, user enters it

Also, the tax calculation method on the sale affects this result.

4. Is tax calculated before or after discount?
   This is entirely your choice.
• Sales Discount Excluded

Tax is calculated on the amount without discount

• Sales Discount Included
• Discount is applied first, then tax is calculated

Different country and accounting scenarios are supported for this reason.

5. I locked the tax, why doesn't it change anymore?
   Because you consciously locked it 🙂

Tax lock:

• Stops automatic calculation
• Preserves manual intervention

You can return to current rules at any time by saying Recalculate.

6. Why can sales total and quote total be different?
   Because:
• Quote is the output of the sale at that moment
• Sale can be updated later

When a quote is created:

• Current products
• Current prices
• Current taxes

are taken as a basis and fixed.

7. What happens when an order is created from a quote?
• Quote amount is transferred to the order
• Order is linked to the sale
• Order amounts on the sale are updated

Sale remains open, the process continues.

8. What happens to the sale as orders close?
   According to order closures, on the sale:
• Open order amount
• Completed order amount
• Canceled order amount

fields are automatically updated.

These fields show the realization status of the sale.

9. When should I close the sale as won?
   Generally:
• When orders are completed

or

• When the commercial result is clarified
  When the sale is won:
• Calculations are fixed
• Moves outside pipeline and forecast
• Realized amount is clarified

If there is an open order, the system will warn you.

10. What happens when a sale is lost?
    When closing the sale:
• Reason for loss
• Competitor information
• Description
  can be entered.

This data forms the basis of sales performance analysis.

11. Why does the estimated revenue sometimes change automatically?
    If a total amount (different from 0) has formed in the sale, the estimated revenue is automatically equated to this amount.
    If there is no total amount, the value manually entered by the user is preserved.

12. Why can't the sale be modified after it's closed?
    Because the sale is now:
• A completed commercial result
• Fixed for reporting and analysis

This is a conscious choice for data security and report consistency.

13. Why does sale work with only one currency?
    Each sales record forms a consistent financial structure. Mixing different currencies in the same sale produces unhealthy results on both the tax and reporting side. Therefore, only one currency can be used in a sale.

14. Can I make a sale without a price list?
    Yes.
    If non-price list sales is active in system settings, the product can be added to the sale with a manual price. In this case, the price is evaluated on a sales product basis, not a product basis.

15. What is "define different price from list price" used for?
    "Define different price from list price" allows the unit price on the sales product to be changed independently of the product or price list. This way, the same product can be sold at different prices in different sales.

16. How many quotes can I create from one sale?
    A sale can have only 1 active quote at a time. Different sales records need to be created for alternative quotes.

17. How is the amount on the quote reflected in the sale?
    When the quote is approved:
• The total amount of the quote is assigned to the relevant fields on the sale
• The sale begins to represent the commercial reality of the quote

18. How are quote revisions tracked?
    Each revision is stored with a unique revision ID. This way, which quote was sent to the customer with which version can be tracked.

19. Does the sale close when an order is created?
    No.
    Order is a step in the sales process. The sale does not automatically close before orders are completed.

20. Can a sale have multiple orders?
    Yes.
    Especially in partial delivery or phased sales scenarios, a sale can contain multiple orders.

21. How are order amounts tracked in the sale?
    On the sale:
• Open order amount
• Completed order amount
• Canceled order amount

are calculated and reported separately.

22. What happens when I say I won the sale?
• Sale closes
• Calculations are fixed
• Stays outside pipeline and forecast
• Realized amount is clarified

23. Can the sale be closed when there is an open order?
    The system gives a warning in the won option.
    The user can close open orders if they wish or can consciously end the process.

24. What information is required in a lost sale?
• Reason for loss
• Competitor (if any)
• Description

This information is considered critical for reporting and sales analytics.
